I’ve been on a self-portrait kick lately, ever since I learned how to tether my camera to my laptop/TV. One of my goals for the year is to get better at portraits, and I’m the only model I know who’s always available and willing!
I still had the camera on the tripod from yesterday’s snowflake shoot, so I thought I’d do a couple quick shots with the puppy, who was cutely (and quietly) sleeping. Naturally, as soon as I woke her up, she was UP, and was maniacally crawling all over me and trying to eat my face.

I thought to put her down and have a try with our more civilized pup, but she didn’t look thrilled with my project, either.
So I picked up the puppy again, who promptly tried to eat my eye…
… And my chin.
Never a dull moment around here.

I found one of your beautiful photos on a photo challenge and saw that you had a Boston Terrier! We have two, the best dogs ever…Buster and Bugsy, by name. Right now they spend most of the time trying to catch the sun, they are very fair weather dogs, just barely tolerating the cold here in Wisconsin!
Thank you Anita! Ours is a fair weather dog as well… We got her in California, and she is positively hating her first taste of Vermont winter! They are definitely sun lovers!
Our puppy does the same thing! Love her!
I guess that is why they call it puppy love…

Well, besides the fact that you are a very beautiful and willing model, I love the photos with the dogs! You are a natural behind the camera and in front of it! I envy anyone who is willing to photograph themselves…at my age, the camera is NOT my friend! Gorgeous work – I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here today!
